How we work
Measured from your baseline. Paid on success.
We start from your numbers, agree what will improve, work alongside your team until it does, and verify the results with you. Our fee follows the results.
Engagement
Four phases
Each phase ends with something your team can see and use, not a report on a shelf.
Assess and baseline
We study your plant and data, agree the KPIs that matter, and fix the baseline together from your own records.
- Plant diagnostic
- KPI definitions
- Joint baseline
Design the planning system
Planning rules, priorities, WIP limits and purchase rules designed with your planners, stores and production heads.
- Planning rules
- Release and priority rules
- Purchase rules
Implement on the shop floor
We run the new routine with your team every day until it becomes habit: daily priorities, recovery meetings and follow-up.
- Daily meetings
- Navigator PPC where it helps
Sustain and verify
Monthly reviews against the baseline. Results are verified jointly, and the success fee follows the verified results.
- Monthly KPI review
- Joint verification
Measurement
KPIs agreed before we start
Every engagement is measured on a short list of KPIs, each with a clear definition, a baseline from your own data and an agreed target.
- Inventory and WIP value, and the cash released from them
- On-time delivery against committed dates
- Manufacturing lead time
- Dispatch recovered from orders at risk
- Output per machine and per shift
- Premium freight, emergency purchase and overtime
Commercial model
We charge on success fees
Our fee is linked to the results the engagement delivers. We earn when your plant improves, so our interest is the same as yours: lower WIP and inventory, better on-time delivery and higher productivity.
Results are measured against the baseline agreed at the start, from your own ERP and records, and verified jointly with your team.
- Fee basis
- Success fee on results
- Baseline
- Agreed from your own data
- Verification
- Joint, every month
- Exclusions
- Events outside the plant's control
Why it is different
Not only software. Not only advice.
Software vendors
Sell licences and leave the process to you. The software is only as good as the planning discipline behind it.
Traditional consultants
Diagnose and recommend, and are paid whether or not the numbers move.
Navigator-PPC
Works on your shop floor until the numbers move, uses software only where it helps, and is paid on success.
Next step
Agree the baseline, then the results
A first discussion is enough to see which KPIs matter in your plant and how a success-fee engagement would work.
